Dive Down Guide

Dive Down is an incremental fishing simulator on Roblox where you literally dive underwater to catch fish. You place your catches in aquariums, and they generate cash over time — even while you're offline. Fish also age, so there's a cycle of catching, earning, and replacing.

The game launched in October 2026 and has been growing fast, pulling in nearly 10 million visits. It runs on desktop, mobile, and tablet, so you can check your aquariums from anywhere. The first major update is dropping soon with new content and a trident-themed expansion.

The Basic Loop: Dive → catch fish → place in aquarium → earn cash → upgrade → dive deeper. Every part feeds into the next, and the game rewards consistency.

How Diving Works: You physically dive underwater to find and catch fish. The deeper you go, the rarer and more valuable the fish. Early on you'll catch common fish near the surface, but as you upgrade gear, you'll reach depths where mythic and secret fish spawn.

The Aquarium System: Caught fish go into your aquariums. Each fish generates cash passively over time. The rarer the fish, the more cash it produces per hour. You want every slot filled at all times — empty slots are wasted income.

This is Dive Down's killer feature. Your fish keep generating cash even when you're not playing. Log off for 8 hours, come back, and collect a fat stack of cash.

Maximizing offline income: Fill every slot before logging off. Use your highest-rarity catches. Check fish age — old fish earn less, so replace aging ones before a long break. Upgrade aquarium capacity for more slots.

When to collect: There might be a cap on offline cash. Logging in once every 12-24 hours to collect and restock is a good habit.

Fish age over time. As they get older, their cash generation may decrease. This creates a natural rotation mechanic — you can't just fill your tanks once and forget about them.

Tips: Check aquariums regularly. Always have replacements ready. Replace low-rarity old fish first. Don't panic-sell — an aging rare fish still earns more than a fresh common one.

Diving Gear — Increases max dive depth. #1 priority early on, since deeper = rarer fish.

Luck Gear — Boosts chance of encountering rare/mythic/secret fish. Important once you can already reach deep waters.

Earning Gear — Multiplies the cash your aquarium fish generate. Best for late-game optimization.

Upgrade priority: Early game → diving depth. Mid game → balance depth and luck. Late game → earning multipliers.
