What is Hitman Card Game?

Want to know how to play Hitman Card Game? It's a strategic card game on Roblox inspired by Exploding Kittens. You sit at a table with other players, take turns drawing from a shared deck, and try not to pull the Hitman card — because drawing it means instant death. Your only lifeline is the Angel card, which saves you once and lets you bury the Hitman back in the deck. Every other card in your hand (Attack, Cancel, Skip, Future, Inferno, and more) exists to push your opponents closer to that deadly draw while keeping yourself safe. Last player standing wins the round and takes the chip pot.

There are 30 cards spread across six archetypes — Support, Target, Quick Play, Wild, Death, and Chaos — plus three game modes: Casual for chill matches with friends and bots, Ranked for 1v1 competitive ladder climbing, and Teams for squad play with exclusive cards like Shield and Super Attack. This guide walks through the full turn structure, every card effect, and the strategies that separate beginners from ranked grinders. Grab all the active codes for free cash and tokens before you start, and check our tips page for advanced combos, or browse the wiki for community links and resources.

FAQ

How do I play Hitman Card Game?

On your turn, either play a card from your hand or draw from the deck. If you draw the Hitman card, you're eliminated — unless you hold an Angel card, which saves you once. Use Support cards to avoid drawing, Target cards to force opponents into risky draws, and Quick Play cards reactively to counter enemy moves. Last player alive wins the round.

What happens when I draw the Hitman card?

You're instantly eliminated unless you have an Angel card. If your Angel saves you, you choose where to place the Hitman back in the deck — top, second, third, bottom, or random. Once your Angel is spent, the next Hitman draw is fatal. Mirror can also copy Angel's effect if the timing is right.

What is the difference between Casual, Ranked, and Teams?

Casual supports 2+ players with full room customization (bots, starting cards, turn duration, betting). Ranked is a 1v1 competitive ladder where you earn REP points and unlock exclusive cards like Pirate and Rewind. Teams is squad-based with exclusive cards (Shield, Super Attack, Old Shuffle) and shared Future vision for teammates.

Can I play Quick Play cards when it's not my turn?

Yes — that's exactly what makes them powerful. Cancel, Chain, Shuffle, Inferno, Pirate, and Redirect can all be activated in response to another player's action, even off-turn. Cancel stops the last card played, Chain locks a card in an opponent's hand, and Inferno deletes an entire card type from all players.

What are Vaulted cards and how do I access them?

There are 9 Vaulted cards (Festive Fortune, Attached, Sun, Moon, Eclipse, Reaper, Snare, Slash, Search) removed from the default deck. You need the Deck Customization gamepass (499 Robux) to unlock them, then toggle custom decks in your room settings to add them to your matches.
