About Trading
This value list tracks every income-generating element in Catch and Feed a Brainrot — mutations, variants, and Brainrot base earnings. Values are based on multiplier impact and cost efficiency. A mutation that costs $6.5ST for x9 (Crystal) is objectively better value than one that costs $964.3ST for x10 (Rainbow), even though Rainbow's raw multiplier is higher. We rank accordingly.
The game's economy runs on a simple loop: catch Brainrots, feed them fruit to evolve, stack mutations from the Potions Shop, and let passive income roll in. Even offline, your Brainrots generate cash and your farm produces fruit. The real optimization is in how you allocate your cash between mutations, which Brainrots you prioritize feeding, and how you manage your fruit mutation RNG.
Rarity tiers determine your Brainrot's base stats. Common Brainrots earn 1.0x base income with a 24-hour feeding interval and only 5% mutation chance on evolution. Rare bumps to 2.5x income, 18-hour feeds, and 10% mutation chance. Epic hits 5.0x income, 12-hour feeds, and 25% mutation chance. Legendary is the endgame at 10.0x income, 6-hour feeds, and 50% mutation chance. Higher rarity means more income, more frequent feeding opportunities, and better odds of rolling a variant.
The multiplier formula ties everything together: Variant × (sum of all Mutations). Mutations stack additively, then the variant multiplies the total. This means every mutation you add gets amplified by your variant, and every variant upgrade amplifies your entire mutation stack. It's a compounding system — the more you invest, the bigger the returns on each new addition. For detailed mutation breakdowns, see our mutations guide. For rankings, check the tier list.

FAQ
How is income calculated in Catch and Feed a Brainrot?
Base BR/hour × rarity multiplier × Variant × (sum of all Mutations). A Legendary Brainrot (10x base) with Shiny variant (x5) and Vampire + Crystal mutations (12 + 9 = 21) earns 10 × 5 × 21 = x1,050 of the base rate. The stacking is what makes mutations so valuable.
Which mutation gives the best value for money?
Crystal at x9 for $6.5ST. It's the highest multiplier-to-cost ratio in the game. Rainbow gives x10 but costs $964.3ST — nearly 150x more expensive for just one extra multiplier point. Buy Crystal first, always.
Do Brainrots earn income while I'm offline?
Yes. Brainrots generate passive income even when you're not playing, and your farm produces fruit offline too. Log back in to collect earnings and feed your Brainrots. The longer you're away, the more cash piles up — but you also miss feeding windows, so check in at least once per feeding interval.
What's the rarity mutation chance?
When a Brainrot evolves, it has a chance to gain a variant based on its rarity: Common 5%, Rare 10%, Epic 25%, Legendary 50%. Higher rarity means better odds of rolling Shiny, Void, Diamond, or Gold variants. This is another reason to prioritize evolving to Legendary.
Can I trade mutations or Brainrots with other players?
You can gift items (fruit and relics) to other players by holding them and walking up to someone, then pressing the interact button. Direct mutation or Brainrot trading isn't available — mutations are permanent once applied to your Brainrot.
How do fruit mutations affect value?
Fruit mutations determine how much XP your fruit gives when fed to a Brainrot. Void fruit (≥90 OT XP) is worth exponentially more than Chill fruit (~322 QT XP). Better fruit = faster leveling = faster access to higher rarities and more income. Let plants grow longer for better mutation chances.
