Drag Drive Simulator Guide
Dealership locations, tuning setups, money-making routes, and everything the game doesn't tell you.
What is Drag Drive Simulator?
Drag Drive Simulator (DDS) is an Indonesian-themed vehicle sim on Roblox with 1.6 billion+ visits. You buy cars and motorcycles from dealerships, customize them with liveries, rims, and performance tunes, then race on drag strips or cruise around the city. The game recently hit its 1st anniversary with a massive update adding new vehicles, a barista job, and the Surakarta city expansion.
There's no wiki for this game — seriously, the Fandom page doesn't even exist. So this guide covers the basics that are otherwise buried in TikTok shorts and Discord messages.
Beginner Tips
How to Earn RP Fast
Redeem Codes
The fastest RP in the game. Active codes give 20M–50M RP each. Redeem all of them and you'll have hundreds of millions before touching a steering wheel.
Drag Racing
Head to Sentul Track and race other players. Wins pay out RP based on the race tier. A well-tuned car makes a huge difference here.
Jobs: Barista & Police
The Barista job at the Coffee Shop (new in V1.11) and Police patrol both pay steady RP. Not the fastest, but reliable income while you learn the map.
Daily Quests & Hidden Crates
Complete daily quests for bonus RP. Hidden crates are scattered around both maps — drive off the main roads and check alleys, rooftops, and dead ends.
Courier & Office Worker
The Courier role pays RP per package delivered — good for learning the map while earning. Office Worker has you solving simple math problems at a desk. Neither is flashy, but both are reliable if you want low-effort income.
2X Paycheck Gamepass
Available in the in-game shop for Robux. Doubles all RP income from races, jobs, quests — everything. If you're planning to play long-term, this is the single best Robux purchase in the game.
Roles & Jobs
When you join a server, you pick a role. Each one changes how you earn RP. Here's the full list.
Civilian
No specific tasks. Free roam, buy cars, race, and cruise. The default pick for most players.
Courier
Deliver packages to marked locations around the map. Pays RP per delivery. Good for learning the roads while earning.
Office Worker
Sit at an office computer and solve simple math problems for RP. Low effort, steady income. Not exciting, but it works.
Barista
Work at the Coffee Shop on the main map. Added in the Anniversary Update. Walk up to the counter and interact with the NPC to start.
Policeman
Requires the Police Pass (149 Robux). Patrol the city in a police vehicle and earn RP. The only role locked behind a paywall.
Controls
Racing at Sentul Track
Time Trial Drag Race
Solo runs against the clock. RP payout is based on the distance you cover per second. Good for practicing your tune setup without the pressure of other racers.
Tournament Drag Race
Competitive races against other players. The winner takes the biggest share of the RP prize pool. Any number of players in the server can enter. Races start every few minutes automatically.
Both race modes happen at Sentul Track (also called Sentul Circuit) on the main map. Head there, park near the starting line, and wait for the next race to begin. A well-tuned car matters more than an expensive one here — gear ratios are everything.
Modification & Tuning
Visual mods: Livery (wraps/decals), Secondary Color, Rims, Custom Plate, and basic color changes. The V1.11 update added Delete Livery, Secondary Color, and Rims options — so you can finally undo bad cosmetic choices.
Performance tuning: Gear Ratios are the big one. Shorter gears = faster acceleration but lower top speed. Longer gears = slower off the line but higher top speed. For drag racing, you want a balance that gets you to peak speed before the finish line. There's no single "best" tune — it depends on the car and the track length.
Tip: test your tune setup in free roam before entering a competitive race. One bad gear ratio can cost you the whole run.
Maps
Original Map + Sentul Track
The starting area with multiple dealerships, the drag strip at Sentul Track, and the Coffee Shop. Most of the action happens here.
Surakarta City
Added in V1.11. A full city expansion with new dealerships, roads, and hidden spots. Some codes (like DELAYDIKITGAKSI) only work on this map.
Helmet Shop
The Helmet Shop sells cosmetic headgear for your character. Helmets look cool but they're purely visual — they don't affect your vehicle's speed, handling, or any performance stats. If you're tight on RP, skip helmets and spend on cars or tunes instead. Come back for the drip once you've got money to burn.
Dealership Locations
Video by Ricoko — covers all dealership locations on the map.

FAQ
What is the best car in Drag Drive Simulator?
Depends on what you're doing. For drag racing, a well-tuned car with optimized gear ratios beats an expensive car with stock settings. The limited anniversary vehicles are strong but rare. Start with whatever you can afford and focus on tuning.
How do I get the Barista job in Drag Drive Simulator?
Head to the Coffee Shop on the main map. The Barista job was added in the V1.11 Anniversary Update. Walk up to the counter and interact with the NPC to start working.
Is there a Drag Drive Simulator wiki?
Nope. The Fandom wiki page doesn't exist — we checked. Most game info is scattered across TikTok shorts and Discord. This guide is the closest thing to a wiki right now.
How do gear ratios work in Drag Drive Simulator?
Shorter gear ratios give faster acceleration but lower top speed. Longer ratios do the opposite. For drag racing, you want to hit peak speed right before the finish line — too short and you top out early, too long and you're still accelerating when the race ends.
What is the Surakarta map?
A city expansion added in V1.11 based on the real Indonesian city of Surakarta (Solo). It has new dealerships, roads, and hidden crates. Some codes only work on this map.
How many players can join a Drag Drive Simulator server?
25 players per server. Private servers support Multi Spawn and a Moderator System if you want to run your own sessions.
What jobs are available in Drag Drive Simulator?
Five roles total: Civilian (free roam), Courier (deliver packages), Office Worker (solve math problems), Barista (coffee shop, added in V1.11), and Policeman (requires Police Pass for 149 Robux). All except Civilian pay RP for completing tasks.
How do I find hidden crates in Drag Drive Simulator?
Crates spawn in alleys, behind buildings, on rooftops, and at dead-end roads on both maps. They reset periodically, so check the same spots on different sessions. Surakarta has its own set of crate spawns separate from the main map.
Are motorcycles worth buying in Drag Drive Simulator?
Absolutely. Bikes are cheaper than cars and can be surprisingly competitive in drag races when tuned properly. A tuned motorcycle beats a stock car that costs three times as much.
What is the best way to tune for drag racing in Drag Drive Simulator?
Use shorter gear ratios on lower gears for a strong launch, then progressively longer ratios on higher gears. Test on a straight road in free roam before racing. The goal is to cross the finish line right as you hit max speed — not before, not after.
Do helmets affect performance in Drag Drive Simulator?
No. Helmets are purely cosmetic. They look cool but don't change your vehicle's speed, handling, or any stats. Buy them if you want the style, skip them if you're saving RP.
What is the 2X Paycheck Gamepass?
A Gamepass you can buy from the in-game shop that doubles all RP income — races, jobs, quests, everything. If you plan to play long-term, it's the single best Robux purchase in the game.
