Fight Your Zombie Guide
Upgrade paths, brain tank strategies, and everything the game doesn't explain. The only accurate guide out there.
What is Fight Your Zombie?
Fight Your Zombie is an incremental simulator on Roblox by Simple Bricks. You grow brains in tanks, feed them to your zombie, fight it, earn coins, and buy upgrades. The loop sounds simple but the progression goes deep — top players spend trillions on upgrades and there are at least 4 prestige levels to work through.
The game launched January 21, 2026 and hit 8.2 million visits with a 94.5% approval rating. Average play session is about 15 minutes, but the offline brain growth mechanic means you're progressing even when you're not playing. There's no wiki yet, so this guide covers everything you need.
Beginner Tips
Core Systems
Zombie Upgrades
Your zombie is the foundation. Every upgrade increases its fighting power and earning potential. This should always be your first priority when you have money to spend. The progression is exponential — early levels feel slow, but each upgrade makes the next one come faster.
Brain Tanks
Brain tanks act as a power multiplier for your zombie. Upgrading them boosts everything your zombie does. Think of it this way: if your zombie does 100 damage, a brain tank upgrade might push that to 150 without touching the zombie itself. Second priority after zombie upgrades.
Weapons
Weapons give your zombie extra damage in fights. They're the tiebreaker when your base stats aren't enough to clear a stage. Upgrade weapons when you hit a wall — they provide the burst damage needed to push through tough fights.
Brain Farming System
Brains are the XP items that level up your zombie. You grow them in tanks, collect them, and feed them. Simple concept, but the details matter.
How tanks work: Each tank grows one brain at a time. The longer you wait before collecting, the more XP that brain is worth. You can run multiple tanks simultaneously — unlocking extra tanks early is one of the best investments you can make.
Brain variants: Normal brains are your bread and butter. Shiny brains are rare and give significantly more XP. Rainbow brains are the jackpot — one Rainbow brain can jump your zombie multiple levels. When you get a Shiny or Rainbow, feed it immediately.
Offline farming: Brains keep growing while you're logged off. This is huge. Before you close the game, make sure every tank is running. Come back hours later and you'll have a full harvest worth way more than what you'd get grinding online for the same time.
Machine & Upgrade Path
Starter Machines
Your first machines are basic brain growers. Upgrade their growth speed and XP output as fast as you can. Every coin spent here pays for itself quickly. Don't bother with cosmetics at this stage.
Advanced Farms
Advanced Farms produce stronger brains with higher base XP. They cost more to unlock and upgrade, but the output difference is massive. Transition to these as soon as you can afford them — they make starter machines obsolete.
Synthesizers
Synthesizers are endgame machines that produce the most powerful brains. They also have higher Shiny and Rainbow drop rates. Getting here takes time, but once you do, your progression speed jumps dramatically.
Key upgrade types to prioritize: Brain XP Multipliers (biggest impact), Coin Multipliers (faster earning), Growth Speed (more brains per hour), Attack Speed (faster fights), Auto-Click (hands-free grinding).
Prestige & The Void
What prestige does: Resets most of your progress — money, upgrades, machines. In return, you get permanent bonuses that carry over forever: better Shiny brain odds, faster growth speed, stronger auto systems.
When to prestige: When upgrades get painfully expensive and your progress slows to a crawl. If you're staring at a price tag and thinking "that'll take forever," it's time. The permanent bonuses make your next run significantly faster.
How many prestiges: At least 4 levels confirmed. Each one stacks on the previous bonuses. Your second run will be noticeably faster than your first, and your third will fly by.
The Void: Prestige unlocks the Void — a new area with its own content and challenges. Details are still being discovered by the community, but it's the endgame destination.
Progression Strategy
Early game (first hour): Focus entirely on zombie upgrades. Fight the easiest enemies, collect money, upgrade, repeat. Don't touch brain tanks or weapons yet — your zombie needs a solid base first.
Mid game: Start splitting resources between zombie and brain tanks. The multiplier effect from brain tanks kicks in hard here. You'll notice your earnings jump significantly with each brain tank level.
Late game: Balance all three systems. At this point you're dealing in trillions and the upgrade costs scale accordingly. Weapons become more important for clearing tougher fights. The top YouTubers show this phase taking the longest but being the most satisfying.

FAQ
What is the best upgrade order in Fight Your Zombie?
Start with your zombie, then brain tanks, then weapons. Your zombie is the core earner, brain tanks multiply its power, and weapons handle the damage spikes. Reinvest everything — don't hoard cash.
How do brain tanks work in Fight Your Zombie?
Brain tanks grow brains over time. You collect the brains and feed them to your zombie for XP. Tanks can produce normal, Shiny, and Rainbow brains — Shiny and Rainbow give way more XP. You can run multiple tanks at once, and brains keep growing even when you're offline.
Is there a Fight Your Zombie wiki?
Not really. There's no Fandom wiki or dedicated wiki site. This guide is the most complete resource right now. We'll keep expanding it as the game gets updates.
How do you earn money fast in Fight Your Zombie?
Fight, upgrade, repeat. The economy is exponential — early upgrades feel slow but each one makes the next faster. Don't save money, spend it immediately on upgrades. Players go from thousands to trillions surprisingly fast.
What is Prestige in Fight Your Zombie?
Prestige resets most of your progress but gives permanent bonuses — better Shiny brain odds, faster growth speed, and stronger auto systems. Each prestige makes your next run faster. There are at least 4 prestige levels, and it unlocks the Void area.
When should I prestige in Fight Your Zombie?
When upgrades get painfully expensive and progress slows to a crawl. That's the signal. The permanent bonuses from prestige will make your next run way faster than grinding out one more expensive upgrade.
Does Fight Your Zombie have codes?
Not yet. The devs haven't released any codes. Some sites show codes that are actually for Hunty Zombie (different game). Check our codes page — we'll update it the moment real codes drop.
Does Fight Your Zombie work offline?
Partially. Brains keep growing in your tanks while you're logged off. So you can close the game, come back hours later, and collect a big harvest. The fighting part is online only though.
