Jujutsu Shenanigans is a Roblox battlegrounds fighter based on Jujutsu Kaisen — M1 combos, four cooldown moves, and Awakenings that flip fights.

This tier list ranks every character by combo damage, unblockable pressure, awakening power, and real match performance.

Rankings get updated after major balance patches. If a character got buffed or nerfed recently, the placement reflects the post-patch meta.

S tier in Jujutsu Shenanigans is stacked right now. The Vessel (Yuji/Sukuna) leads the pack with 80 HP and some of the most explosive damage output in the game. His base kit has low-cooldown combo starters that chain smoothly, and once you Awaken into King of Curses, you unlock Malevolent Shrine — a domain expansion that traps opponents — and World Slash, a secret technique that chunks massive HP. Input the World Slash sequence (1→3→2→R) correctly and you can close out rounds in seconds. Mahito Distorted Killing and Todo Switcher sit right next to him. Distorted Killing has unblockable pressure that works at every skill level, while Todo's counter and raw damage output let him delete health bars before opponents can react. Mahoraga is borderline broken as an all-rounder, and Locust Guy has the highest combo ceiling in the game if you can execute. Heian Sukuna rounds it out with multiple Dismantle variants and serious tankiness.

Gojo Honored One is the most beginner-friendly character in the game and still holds up at mid-level play. Lapse Blue pulls enemies toward you for easy combo setups, Reversal Red gives you a solid ranged poke, and his Awakened Six Eyes form unlocks Hollow Purple and Infinite Void domain expansion. The problem? Experienced players know exactly what Gojo wants to do, and his kit gets predictable fast. Hakari Restless Gambler is the opposite story — high skill ceiling, luck-dependent, but terrifying when it clicks. His Idle Death Gamble domain expansion triggers Jackpot Mode, which gives him insane HP regeneration that makes him nearly unkillable in 1v1 situations. Both A-tier picks can absolutely compete with S tier in the right hands, but they have clear weaknesses that the top characters don't.

We rank characters based on four factors: raw combo damage (how much HP you delete per opening), unblockable pressure (can opponents just hold block and survive?), awakening power (does your awakened form actually win fights or just look cool?), and consistency across matchups (does the character fold against specific counters?). Community tournament results, high-level 1v1 footage, and server fight performance all feed into placements. We don't rank based on how fun a character is or how cool their animations look — this is purely about competitive viability. A character that dominates in casual servers but gets exposed in ranked-style play won't sit in S tier here.

Tier lists matter less than execution. A clean Locust Guy player will beat a sloppy Vessel player every single time. That said, here are some universal tips that apply regardless of your main. First, learn your M1 string timing — dropped combos are the number one reason people lose fights they should win. Second, don't Awaken the moment your meter fills. Save it for when you're at a health disadvantage or when you can confirm a kill with awakened moves. Third, practice dash-canceling out of block stun. Most players below mid-level just hold block and eat unblockable mixups. Fourth, know your matchups. If you're playing Gojo into Todo, you need to respect his counter and bait it out before committing to combos. Matchup knowledge separates A-tier players from S-tier players more than character choice does.

Not all awakenings are created equal. The Vessel's King of Curses awakening is arguably the biggest power spike in the game — you go from a solid combo fighter to having domain expansion (Malevolent Shrine) and a secret technique (World Slash) that can one-shot low-HP opponents. Gojo's Six Eyes awakening adds MAX Blue, MAX Red, Hollow Purple, and Infinite Void, turning him from a good zoner into a full-screen threat. Hakari's Jackpot Mode is the most unique awakening because it's RNG-gated through Idle Death Gamble — when you hit jackpot, your HP regen becomes so fast that opponents literally cannot outdamage your healing. On the flip side, characters like Megumi Ten Shadows and Choso have awakenings that feel more like incremental upgrades than game-changers, which is a big reason they sit lower on this list.
